Activity Days Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance, Mechanicsville Ward

It was that time of year again... and this time Andre had not one, but two beautiful dates!!

Sophie and Nadia took their Daddy to a luau and had a ton of fun!

The Galitsky Girls showed off their stuff, Sophia won the hula hoop contest, and Nadia took first in the Limbo. They won two yummy ripe pineapples the whole family enjoyed.

Look Who's Turning Six! September 10, 2011

We celebrated Ava's 6th birthday with some new friends. Her daddy took her to lunch while the girls and I stayed back secretly planning a surprise party...

Friends the joined the celebration were Kennadi and Karissa Fulcher, from church, Molly our next door neighbor, and Taylor who also lives on our street. Ava had a great time and loved the surprise part!

First Day of School, September 2011

Our three little fashionistas headed off to their first day at their new school in Virginia, happy as larks they seem to almost enjoy trying out a new school... they are becoming pros!

It seems like it always rains on the first day of school... doesn't matter if we are in MN, KY or VA. I think it's all the mom's crying! The girls love to take the umbrella, so it works for them! I took these pics as my Hubby and our three little girls headed off to the bus stop at the end of our cul-de-sac... seems the neighborhood culture is dads in the am and moms in the pm... so we decided to go with the flow :)

My Sweet Little Sophie, Another Year Wiser..

On August 19, 2011 we celebrated one super sweet decade with our first little baby girl, Sophia Elisabeth Galitsky. We couldn't believe ten whole years have come and gone... We love you Sophie!

Hello Virginia!

Shortly after arriving to VA in July 2011, our family got to experience two of nature's wonder's... The earthquake was a shocker! We thought we'd moved to the quake-free coast! Hopefully we won't see that again for a while. The second wonder we were well prepared for... thanks to helpful ward members and neighbors, of course when the power went out and wasn't expected back on for week we left town!! We woke up early Sunday morning, cleaned up the debris, cleaned out the two refrigerators (learned not to stock up on frozen foods during hurricane season), and by 10am we hit the road... headed to none other than Hilton Head Island, SC! We had a blast! Everyone, even Andre got their island vibe on.. we didn't want to to come home! Needless to say with the short six hour drive we are hoping to make HHI our "go to" vacation spot!
